The City Manager presented the proposed Fiscal Year 2024 budget at the Aug. 15 City Council meeting. Here are a few budget quick hits:
- Total Proposed FY24 Budget: $106.7M*
- Total Proposed FY24 Revenues: $96.6M*
- Capital Projects (CIP) Budget: $52.8M
- Proposed Tax Rate: .337% per $100 valuation, a decrease from FY23’s tax rate of .3423%
*The total budget exceeds revenues as the proposed budget plans to draw down excess fund balances for one-time equipment purchases and projects.
City Council will hold public hearings on the FY24 budget and tax rate on Sept. 5 and Sept. 19 and is scheduled to vote on the budget and tax rate on Sept. 19.
