The City has added another location for citizens to obtain water on the East side of town. We will be distributing bottled water at Tom Green Elementary from Noon to 4 today, or while supplies last. Tom Green Elementary is located at 1301 Old Goforth Road. The Buda Area Chamber of Commerce will be on site helping to distribute the water. A big thank you to the chamber for all that they do!
Meanwhile, a drinking water filling distribution station is set up in the Buda YMCA parking lot on the Wet side of town from noon to 4 PM on both Saturday, Feb. 20 and Sunday, Feb. 21. The Buda YMCA is located at 465 Buda Sportsplex Dr. If you can, please bring your own drinking water safe large container. We have a very limited quantity. Public Works has set up a device off a fire hydrant to fill water.
