Hays CISD school buses have been converted to portable "Warming Centers" for temporary relief for Buda residents at the following locations. The buses are not equipped to provide food or drink, only temporary relief from the cold. This is a joint undertaking of the Hays County Office of Emergency Management and Hays CISD and the City of Buda.

Hays Hills Baptist Church, 1401 N Farm to Market 1626
Cabelas, 15570 S IH 35 Frontage Rd
Silverado Crossing Apartments, 1480 Cabelas Dr
There is also a location for those in the Kyle area.
Kyle United Methodist Church 408 W Lockhart St, Kyle, TX 78640
The buses will be at locations until 7 p.m. on 2/16
Residents must practice State & Local Orders regarding face coverings when using the warming centers.
