Capital of Texas Police Motorcycle Chute Out
TRAVIS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE NEWS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Friday and Saturday, March 3 – 4, 2017 from 8am to 4pm each day, the Travis County Sheriff’s Office, along with several other area law enforcement agencies from Hays, Travis and Williamson counties, will host the 4th Annual Capital of Texas Police Motorcycle Chute Out at Cabela’s in Buda.
The event is a police motorcycle skills competition and exhibitor show. All proceeds benefit the Sunshine Kids Foundation and the Greater Austin Crime Commission. Over the past three years, the event has raised over $56,000 for charity and is currently among the top five largest police motorcycle skills competitions in the nation. This year more than 160 competitors from 13 different states are registered to compete. The Chute Out is a family friendly event and admission is free for spectators.
