Buda Transit Development Plan
The City of Buda and CapMetro are participating in the regional Service Expansion Program – allowing CapMetro funds to jurisdictions outside their service area. To utilize these funds, the City must first complete a Transit Development Plan.
The development of the plan will address the current public transit needs of the city as its community is rapidly growing. Overall, enhancing mobility to provide a safe, reliable, efficient, and accessible transportation network.

Virtual Open House #2 Materials
The City of Buda and CapMetro are hosting the second Virtual Open House from June 28 to July 12, 2023, to share an update on the Plan and present the recommended transit service alternatives. Since the first open house, the team has been analyzing community feedback in conjunction with the TDP goals, objectives and strategies to develop the recommended transit service alternatives presented.
This open house aims to gather additional feedback from the community on the Buda Transit Development Plan (TDP) and inform the community of the next steps moving forward.
