FINGERPRINTING

As a service to the community, we offer fingerprinting on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am until noon both days. No appointment is necessary, but we highly recommend you call ahead to ensure someone is available to fingerprint.

You will need to bring with you a picture ID and the original fingerprint card(s) that you want us to print you on. If you do not have a fingerprint card, the Police Department can supply you with a standard card that may be acceptable. Please check with the Agency you are being fingerprinted for before reporting for fingerprinting.

There is a fee for fingerprinting services:
Residents: $10.00
Nonresidents: $20.00
Additional Fingerprint Cards: $5.00

FORMS

Below you will notice some quick and easy forms. When completing the forms, please be as accurate as possible and provide as much information as you can. The more information you provide the Police Department the better we will be able to assist you. These forms can be submitted directly through our website.

Close Patrol Form

If you are going to be out of town for an extended period of time or just a couple of days, complete the Close Patrol Form and the Buda Police Department can check by your home frequently. When submitting this request, please ensure you provide us with your contact information and all information concerning any persons, pets, or vehicles that may be at your residence while you are gone.

Traffic Report Form

Have you noticed a particularly high amount of persons committing traffic violations in your neighborhood or in a particular part of the City? If so, please let the Police Department know about it by completing the Traffic Report form. The primary mission of our Traffic Safety Division is to ensure the safe passage of motor vehicles and pedestrians throughout the City of Buda.

Citizen Contact Form

The purpose of the Citizen Contact form is to allow citizens the opportunity to provide direct feedback to us regarding a specific complaint or compliment. The form is generic in nature, so please be as specific and detailed as possible. We welcome your feedback regardless of complaint or compliment. The Buda Police Department is YOUR Department and we seek to serve the Citizens of Buda in the best manner possible. So, let us know how we are doing!
